The Crime Dog’s a Diamond All-Star!
That’s right, the Blue Jays and Padres batting legend Freddy McGriff is getting a Diamond All-Star card in MLB The Show 21! Safe to say, the premier batter on your roster is quaking in his boots right now!
FOUR new Diamond Cards!
Great news for you if you were in the market for a new Diamond. You now have four new options to choose from!
First up, there’s the Yankees’ former MVP, the 4-time all-star hitter, Giancarlo Stanton! Come on, you can’t say you didn’t see this one coming. His Diamond card was long overdue!
The 2-time champ and 2-time All-Star loyal to the Boston Red Sox gets the next diamond card. You already know who it is. The Dutch X-Man, Xander Bogaerts!
Next up, we have the youngest of the bunch: he started in the major leagues in September of 2019! It is the Cleveland Indians’ James Karinchak! This 25-year-old sure has a very bright future!
Lastly, there’s the Milwaukee Brewers draft steal, Brandon Woodruff! He is their best hitter and one of their best pitchers and does those with different hands. What a player.
Silver Sluggers Event
You can now earn Diamond Asdrubal Cabrera and Nick Markakis through the silver sluggers! You’ll need Silver or Common players each of at least 60 OVR and a team overall not above 79. Win 3-innings games on All-Star difficulty, and they’re yours!
