Teleporting after dying
If you get killed by mobs or any other enemy or simply die because of falling down from heights, you’ll automatically respawn to your bed. Before you attempt such a reckless move, make sure to set the spawn location in your bed beforehand by clicking the right mouse button on it during the daytime. Also, make sure to store your items in the chest, or else you’ll risk losing them when you get killed or die.
Using Commands
If you don’t want to do the legwork, you can simply invoke a command prompt by entering the teleport commands in the console which can be used in both survival and creative mode.
You can input the teleport command by typing /tp or /teleport [followed by the player’s username] [coordinates of your bed]. This will teleport you to the desired coordinates. If you don’t know the coordinates to your bed, simply press F3 near it to launch debug screen and it will be shown on the upper left.
Defeating an Ender Dragon
As unusual as it seems, you can teleport back to your bed by killing the Ender Dragon. Well, once you’ve put down the beast, a portal will appear, and entering it will send you to your spawn point in the Overworld, which is your bed.
