Furthermore, with more spin-offs being published, the Minecraft IP is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Furthermore, the Summer Celebration Sale for Minecraft Marketplace has officially begun, meaning you can get 200+ sale items until July 10. Players will also get a different Character Creator item for free. With all that aside, if you are reading this particular guide, then you must be searching for a way to set the weather and time in the game.
Minecraft is one of the few games that provide a true sandbox experience. Only a handful of games in history have been able to match its level of complexity and freedom. Players have built literal cities and giant life-like structures in the game. It will be years before a game can outdo what Minecraft is capable of. Now, we understand that every player has their own preferences, and customizing weather and time is part of that. So, how can you set the weather and time in Minecraft? Let’s find out!
Minecraft: How to set Weather & Time
Open Minecraft and choose your world. Next, select the Edit option next to your world and click on the option titled – Game under Edit Settings. On the right-hand side of the screen, scroll down until you find the “Activate Cheats” sub-option. Enable that option, and then right below that is another sub-option titled “Always Day“. You can enable it to get rid of nighttime cycles. Next is the “Daylight Cycle” sub-option. If you enable it, then your world will be experiencing normal cycles. Do note that if you enable Daylight Cycle, then Always Day will automatically turn off. Additionally, you can also turn on “Weather Cycle“, if you want. Now, all you need to do is start your world.
Once you are in your world, open the chat window and select the “/” icon to bring up the Commands menu. Here, choose your preferred weather and time, and then enter them in the chat window. The next thing you will be seeing is a world reacting to the parameters you set. If you went with “Rain” and “Night“, then you will be experiencing a rainy night in the game, and so on. With that said, we certainly hope that this guide has helped you learn how to set weather and time in Minecraft. For more guides and information on the game, don’t forget to follow DigiStatement.
