Minecraft Abundance Mod
The Minecraft Abundance Mod adds fresh new Lavender material, beautiful Lavender Fields, and lavender Forests. It also adds new flowers, flowering Redbud trees, and Saguaro Cati in Badlands biomes into the existing biomes. The Abundance mod is compatible with mods such as Quark, Buzzier Bees, and Environmental.
Lavender Biomes
The Abundance mod currently comes up with two new biomes: The Lavender Forest and the Lavender fields. The Lavender Fields biome has loads of Lavender, Redbud trees, and sparse Jacaranda. On the other hand, the Lavender Forest can either spawn as a standalone biome or as a Lavender Fields sub-biome. It has less Lavender present on the Fields and doesn’t have any Redbud trees but it does offer a lot of flowers and Jacaranda trees.
Jacaranda & Redbud Trees
The Jacaranda trees come up with both flowering and non-flowering variants which can be found in the new Lavender biomes.
Just like the Jacaranda trees, the Redbud trees are also found in two variations, a flowering and non-flowering variant. The flowering variant can be found in the Lavender fields whereas you will find the rare non-flowering variant in Plains and Forest biomes.
Lavender
The newly added material, Lavender can be found in Lavender Fields and Lavender biomes. It usually grows up to the height of a single block but if you’ll plant it on the course dirt it will grow even higher, which means you can double your yield with this method.
The Lavender material can also be made into a Lavender Tea which gives the Supportive effect or into a new food source called Lavender Salad. The supportive effect gives animals regeneration, monsters resistance, and neutral mobs strength. You can brew a longer supportive potion with Lavender in a brewing stand. Moreover, the Lavender can also be made into Lavender Blossoms, which is a key ingredient for purple dye or a beautiful Lavender Blossom.
Beautiful new flowers
A bunch of new flowers is added in the Abundance mod. The Chicories can be found often in the Plains and Forests. The Nemophilas can be found commonly in Flower Forests but are hardly found in the Forests and Plains. The charming Marigols will be available in Tall, Shady, and Sunny varieties. They generate often in the Sunflower Plains. The Purple and Yellow African daisies can be found commonly in the Savannas and quite rarely in the jungle whereas the Amaranthuses can be found in the Jungles.
Sunflower Seeds
The Sunflowers can be made into Sunflower Seeds which are a light food source. You can store 9 sunflower seeds in a sack if you have installed Quark. This will make them more efficient to carry around.
Saguaro Cactus
A new type of cactus can be found in the Badlands biome, called the Saguaro Cactus. These cactus have really beautiful flowers that you can easily pick and plant in the sand to generate a new Saguaro You will get the succumbing effect if you got poked by one. This will poison you a little whenever you take the damage. A Saguaro Flower can be used to brew a Potion of Succumbing.
