Xiaomi is killing competition by adding amazing features again and again. Whether it is 100W fast charging or a 108MP camera, Xiaomi is repeatedly trying out new things to attract users. Now, Xiaomi has added a new feature called “Mi cross-screen collaboration” to its Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition smartphone running on MIUI 12.0.3.0.
This information came to light when Abhishek Yadav, a tipster, who posted a tweet about this information. He also said that soon Xiaomi will roll out this update to other devices too. The original tweet by him goes as follows,
Xiaomi Wondershare Cross-Screen Collaboration is Officially Launched Now Available For Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition Running On MIUI 12.0.3.0
Soon Xiaomi Will Roll Out To Other Devices As Well. pic.twitter.com/frVf4FNpCj— Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) October 24, 2020
With this new “Mi cross-screen collaboration” you can share the mobile phone’s screen and operate your phone directly from the computer. This feature can also share your phone’s notification to your PC, this is very helpful as you need not check your phone again and again while working on your computer. With this “Mi cross-screen collaboration” feature, you can easily “drag & drop” files to transfer files between your phone and computer.
Even though Abhishek said that Xiaomi will roll out this update for other smartphones too, I guess that mid-range phones and budget-phone will not get this update and Xiaomi will roll out this update only for its flagship devices.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition comes with a 6.67-inch 120Hz hyperboloid OLED screen. This handset comes with a flagship configuration that consists of Snapdragon 865 + LPDDR5 + UFS 3.1. We can see a 4500 mAh battery with this device. According to the claims made by Xiaomi, this smartphone supports a 50W charging that can charge this device from 0-100% in 40 minutes.
