Mi 10 Android 11 based MIUI 12 update rolling out in China (Download from here)

Whether it is RealmeUI 2.0, Samsung’s OneUI 3.0, or Xiaomi’s very own MIUI 12, every smartphone manufacturer is building its own Android 11 based skin (UI) for their devices. Xiaomi announced MIUI 12 back in May 2020, just six months after the introduction of MIUI 11. The update first went live in China and was scheduled later for the rest of the world. Despite it being just six months since the release of MIUI 11, Xiaomi was still able to stuff MIUI 12 chock-full of new features.

Now, as a part of the final testing of MIUI 12 for Mi 10, Xiaomi is rolling out a stable Beta update of MIUI 12 to selected users within China. After the successful completion of this Beta Stable ROM, Xiaomi will push this update to the public. This update may come with/without a changelog, Xiaomi shared on the community page.

Just a few days back, Xiaomi released MIUI 12 Stable ROM for Mi 10 Pro Chinese users. And now, Xiaomi has started to roll out the stable Beta version of MIUI 12 for Mi 10.

Out of the box, the Xiaomi Mi 10 came with MIUI 11 based on Android 10. It did not receive MIUI 12 till now. But the wait is over now. This latest MIUI 12 China Beta Stable ROM is coming out as the software version V12.1.5.0.RJBCNXM.

MIUI 12 Features:

MIUI 12 is based on Android 11. Android 11 gives a new refined interaction with UI, screenshots scrolling, and combining, better screen recording with internal audio capture and better one-handed mode are some other features that Android users are expecting. In addition to it, we get NFC file transfer, Chat bubble, Dark Mode, Battery and storage enhancements, and an Enhanced Do Not Disturb Mode.

MIUI 12 focused on visual enhancements and privacy upgrades. It has smoother animations, modernized visual elements, and a UI that feels more coherent overall. Dark Mode has also received improvements and now just works better. Settings have been cleaned up and there is a new system font. There is a new focus mode and the file manager has also received improvements. Privacy and security have also received a boost. Users now get more granular control and information over the permissions their apps ask for.
