It offers multiple language options for both text and audio, allowing you to customize your experience to your liking. That said, in this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to switch languages easily in-game.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 offers extensive language support, making it accessible to its global audience. The game features full interface and subtitle support in numerous languages, with complete voice-over options available for major languages like English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (both Spain and Latin America), Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Arabic. However, language options, such as Czech, Greek, and Vietnamese, are limited to interface and subtitles only.

If you want to play Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in a different language, you can easily change it through the launcher settings. Follow these steps to switch the language:

Via Steam

  • Open Steam: Launch the Steam client on your PC.
  • Go to Library: Click on the “Library” tab to view your list of games.
  • Right-click on the Game: Find Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, then right-click on it.
  • Select Properties: In the dropdown menu, click on “Properties”.
  • Go to the General Tab: On the left panel, click on “General”.
  • Find the Language Option: Under the “General” settings, locate the “Language” section.
  • Choose Your Preferred Language: Click on the dropdown menu and select the language you want to use.
  • Wait for the Update: Steam will automatically download the necessary language files. Let the update complete before launching the game.

  • Pause the Game: While in the game, press the Escape (Esc) key on your keyboard or the Menu button on your controller to bring up the pause menu.

  • Select “Subtitles and Captioning”: Scroll through the settings menu and find the Subtitles and Captions section.
  • Find the “Text Language” Option: Inside the Subtitles and Captions menu, locate the Text Language setting.
  • Choose Your Preferred Language: Click on the Text Language option to open a list of available languages.
  • Select a New Language: Scroll through the list and choose your desired language (e.g., Greek, Hungarian, Czech, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, etc.).
  • Apply the Changes: Once you’ve selected your preferred language, the game should automatically apply the change.
  • Resume Playing: Exit the settings menu and return to your game with the updated text language.
