Hunter Studios’ Lost Castle was a quite fine action-roguelike title back when it came out in 2016. While the game wasn’t particularly successful, it sure had its own fanbase. And it’s this fanbase that Hunter Studio is catering to with Lost Castle 2. The sequel to Lost Castle, Lost Castle 2 is the latest roguelike multiplayer action title. However, the title is strictly limited to PC players, as we’ve heard about no console ports for the game yet, at least officially. This is also what worries handheld users. This has resulted in a large market for devices like the Steam Deck, Lenovo Legion Go, and Asus Rog Ally. Of course, it also means that every time a new game pops up, users want to find out if the game will support these handhelds. So, let’s take a look at Lost Castle 2 and find out about the console ports.

Lost Castle 2 on Steam Deck

Valve’s Steam Deck is, perhaps, one of the most popular handhelds on the market. But that doesn’t guarantee that every game will support this device. For example, the first Lost Castle game was not officially verified on the Deck. It was, however, listed as Playable on Steam. That does indicate that even Lost Castle 2 would be playable on Deck. And that is indeed true. Although the sequel hasn’t received any official Steam Deck rating yet, players have tried the game on Steam Deck and it worked fine for them. So, if you’re thinking about getting Lost Castle 2 on your Deck, you can go right ahead! Here’s a gameplay video featuring the game’s performance on the handheld:
