The Ruined themed skins will not be the only ones for the 11.2 League of Legends cycle since a new family has appeared on the PBE, that of the Shan Hai with no less than 4 champions: Cho’Gath, Nautilus, Neeko and Jhin. Riot Games is kicking off the 2021 League of Legends season with great fanfare. While patch 11.1, the very first of the year, arrives tonight on the live servers, the studio presents us – as usual – the skins that will accompany the next cycle, 11.2.
In addition to the Ruined (Fallen) family, another family will appear, that of the Shan Hai. Four champions have been chosen to embody this new theme: Cho’Gath, Nautilus, Neeko and Jhin.
We do not yet know the lore associated with this new line of skins but it seems to embrace an Asian style in flamboyant colours. One would have thought that this family of skins – which had leaked a few days ago – would have been released for the Chinese New Year, but it seems that there is no direct connection. Especially since Moon Beast themed skins for Annie, Jarvan, Alistar, Darius and Aphelios are expected to arrive soon.
