League of Legends is currently down and having issues. A lot of users are reporting issues with the game. This is happening after the servers went for maintenance after the Preseason update. The bug says that the game version is not supported.
How to fix LoL Game version is not supported: Is League of Legends down?
Try closing the game client from the task manager. This will reset the game system. It is mainly happening because of the preseason update and the size of it. The client & servers are overloading due to the size of the update. If you were playing a party game then make sure that each your friends are running on the same version of the game as well. Open the client once more after updating everything and try again.
If you are still having the same trouble then try validating the game files once. This will make sure that the update has not brought in any corrupted files as is the case sometimes. You can also do a complete repair in the Troubleshooting menu. We suggest you to reinstall the game if the bug- Game version is not supported persists.
