NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 30 series cards might be the most capable GPUs out there for the masses today. They have evidently upped the expectations from leading GPU manufacturers. However, most people stay shy of the new GeForce Experience that the Ampere GPUs are capable of heralding. This is owing to the shortage of supply and remarkably rising demand for the cards. Quite clearly, NVIDIA and all third-party manufacturers were unprepared in the manner they would tackle the sudden outpouring of love over GeForce RTX 30 cards. The delay in the RTX 3070 launch by NVIDIA was also more like a contingency move. Yesterday, Scan UK released the orders update on various GeForce RTX 30 cards and it wasn’t the most optimistic update.
Unfortunately there aren’t any signs of the supply ramping up any point soon. Among all categories, ASUS and EVGA cards happen to be the most pending pre-ordered ones. The likes of PNY and PALIT are yet to provide substantial information on the arrival of their new stock. GeForce RTX 3080 variants continue to be among the most popular cards, with maximum number of pre-orders. The copies of orders update on RTX 30 cards posted by Scan have been attached below.
