As the name suggests, this issue is related to your Windows version. So, the first method is to make sure that you have the latest version of Windows 10 installed on your PC. - Launch Steam and go to Library.
- Right-click on Last of Us Part 1 and select Manage.
- Now, click on the Browse local files option.
- Next, right-click on the .exe files of the game and select Properties.
- Now, go to the Compatibility tab.
- Here, uncheck the box next to the “Run this program in the compatibility mode for” option.
- Once you do this, click on Apply and then on Ok.
- Make sure to do this for both the executable files that you find in the game directory.
- Also, do the same for the “launcher” file in the folder.
- Next, press the Windows key and type Steam.
- Right-click the Steam option and select Open file location.
- Here, right-click on Steam’s .exe file and go to the Compatibility tab.
- Now, uncheck the box next to the “Run this program in the compatibility mode for” option.
