Last Oasis Patch 1.1.29308 Notes- Fixes And Improvements

New Update for Last Oasis is here with a lot of improvements and fixes. Also, many new features Check the full patch notes below:

LAST OASIS PATCH 1.1.29308 NOTES

WALKERS

  • – Added the Mollusk Walker.
  • – Added new walker wing type available for Mollusk. Coming soon for other walkers!
  • – Made Tusker better at climbing hills and general movement.
  • – Allowed building on walkers inside trading station protection.
  • – Tuned positions and behaviors of walker cameras.
  • – Improved collisions of various Walkers.
  • – Added visual walker leg attachments for all walkers.
  • – Prevented building under Schmetterling stairs to avoid exploits.
  • – Made walkers automatically logout if inactive for 6 hours.
  • – Increased Buffalo Walker weight limit to the same value as Stiletto.

LOCALIZATION

  • – Added Turkish language localization.
  • – Added Korean language localization.

STRUCTURES

  • – Added timed packing based on the size of a base.
  • – Added activation delay for Rupu Slings.
  • – Improved target and shooting logic of Rupu Slings.
  • – Adjusted cameras when manning weapons.
  • – Added new animations for Walker Climber.
  • – Moved Stairs from Heavy Wood Base to Light Wood Base.
  • – Made building non-base structures close the building menu automatically.
  • – Increased water container size of the Bed.
  • – Added physical walker barrier gates.
  • – Added continuous damage to structures and walkers inside objects like rocks.

SOUNDS

  • – Added a new exploration music system.
  • – Improved and replaced various Nurr and Okkam sounds.
  • – Added new sounds for various ceramic-related hits.
  • – Tweaked various hit sounds when unarmed.
  • – Added new sounds for various loot sites – walker crash sites, etc.
  • – Tweaked and improved various Walker sounds.
  • – Tweaked sounds for hitting wings with melee weapons.

CHARACTER

  • – Improved tutorial quests – replaced some, tweaked task logic, etc.
  • – Added continuous damage to players inside objects like rocks.
  • – Overhauled wingsuit system. It’s better now.

INTERFACE

  • – Updated fonts for some of the languages.
  • – Replaced many temporary icons.
  • – Added controls window while using Kite.
  • – Made tutorial panels less invasive.
  • – Improved the look and usability of some of the settings menus.
  • – Tweaked usability of some of the elements in World Map and Lobby.
  • – Improved some of the building menu usability.

OASES & EXPLORATION

  • – Added large cactus trees too hard difficulty oases.
  • – Improved collisions and visuals of rupu camps.
  • – Improved spawning positions on medium difficulty oases.
  • – Increased the size of apple trees to improve usability.
  • – Improved placement of driftwood in Nomad’s Cradle.
  • – Adjusted placements of urns and rupu vines in camps.
  • – Slightly lowered cattail density in swamp areas.
  • – Increased respawn time of loot in some ruins.

CREATURES

  • – Added new Nurr behaviors – new attacks, jumps, ambushing etc.
  • – Improved or replaced some of the existing Nurr behaviors.
  • – Added new Okkam behaviors – taunts, new attacks, etc.
  • – Improved logic for selecting attack targets for Okkam.
  • – Improved rupu behavior when taunting a player.
  • – Made Nurrs appear in groups instead of solo.

COMBAT

  • – Tweaked the positions of various weapons while holding them.
  • – Disabled using javelins while grappling.

VISUALS

  • – Improved textures for old walker wings found at loot sites.
  • – Improved particles and camera shakes caused by Okkam.
  • – Adjusted fog and skylight visuals on all oases.
  • – Improved visuals of water ripples and splashes.
  • – Tweaked cloth visuals of various armors.
  • – Added reactive grass when walking. Basically AAA now.
  • – Improved grass visuals when growing on slopes.
  • – Improved tree falling visuals.
  • – Tweaked visuals of walker construction hologram.
  • – Improved character visuals related to skin shader.
  • – Improved various harvesting visual effects.
  • – Added better visuals for loot sites falling apart.

OPTIMIZATION

  • – Improved performance of walker animations.
  • – Optimized LODs of the most frequently used models.
  • – Optimized various special effects – water ripples, particles, etc.
  • – Optimized various logic affecting performance.

FIXES

  • – Fixed being able to respawn inside objects like rocks or underground.
  • – Fixed players jiterring when too many are on screen.
  • – Fixed some of the issues with rupu camps spawning inside rocks.
  • – Fixed issues with updating progress of base packing quest.
  • – Fixed various inconsistencies with walker terminology.
  • – Fixed visual issues with listings in trading station screen.
  • – Fixed camera issues when using Kite.
  • – Fixed chanting keybinds not updating in settings.
  • – Fixed some of the structures having wrong sounds on hit.
  • – Fixed visual bug with crafting buttons when it’s already in progress.
  • – Fixed various UI issues in languages other than English.
  • – Fixed broken character leg animations on slopes.
  • – Fixed glitches in two-handed weapon animations when in combat.
  • – Fixed visual issues with two-handed weapon block transitions.
  • – Fixed issues with Stiletto container interactables.
  • – Fixed sawblades rotating while placing them.
  • – Fixed checkbox responsiveness in settings menu.
  • – Fixed Phemkes and Nurrs not blocking structures when building.
  • – Fixed gunpod ballista and sawblades being packable separately.
  • – Fixed visual issues with Firefly pedals model.
  • – Fixed incorrect or missing descriptions of various items.
  • – Fixed rupus sometimes visually turning away from their target.
  • – Fixed music events related to rupus taunting and attacking.
  • – Fixed interaction highlight not appearing in first person.
  • – Fixed being able to move the camera inside windows on walkers.

  • – Fixed modules that increase container sizes working without container upgrades.
  • – Fixed issues with some structures being difficult to place on foundations.
  • – Fixed incorrect or broken behaviors of some modules.
  • – Fixed walker supports giving resources when disassembled manually.
  • – Fixed incorrect weight of containers when picking them up.
  • – Fixed accidental destruction of modules with right click.
  • – Fixed some issues with walker climber moving players.
  • – Fixed sand production failing in Soil Excavator when 30 torque is used.
  • – Fixed incorrect XP values being too high or too low on some harvesting.
