The chapter begins with everyone falling outside the Fortress along with everyone. Pillars begin to attack Muzan to keep him busy, but he deflects them. They try to cut Muzan’s neck, but Muzan regenerates. During the second half of the chapter, when pillars accidentally reach too close to Muzan, random slayers sacrifice themselves to protect pillars.
Tanjiro tries to run toward Muzan but suddenly falls on the ground. Muzan states that Tanjiro has soaked his blood which is enough to destroy his cell and kills him. He announces Tanjiro dead.
