In the last chapter, we saw remaining slayers and pillars getting an upper hand on Muzan with help of Yushiro who faked love and serpent pillars’ death and took control over Nakime. Later, Muzan killed Nakime which resulted in collapse of the fortress. At the end, when Muzan tried to attack Mitsuri, Tanjiro threw a slayer’s sword at Muzan which pierced his head. Now, chapter 184 is just around the corner and its spoilers have already leaked online which reveals a shocking turn of events.

Here is a short summary of Kimetsu No Yaiba Chapter 184.
All random demon slayers try to attack Muzan and all got kill to buy some time for remaining pillars. Muzan mixes the blood into his attacks and attacks Tanjiro. After seeing Tanjito’s face half-burned he says that Tanjiro is dead. Giyuu falls into impotence for not being able to protect Tanjiro as he did not do it with Sabito in due course.
Muzan: “I mix my own blood into the attacks I make”
Muzan: “These massive amounts of blood will not turn one into demons. But they are like deadly poisons, destroying one’s cells and killing it”
Muzan: “Kamado Tanjiro is dead”
From the spoilers, it looks like Tanjiro is dead, but if a main character dies then how a story can be completed. I think the burning of Tanjiro’s face is a hint of him countering poison with his breath of sun technique. I’m sure he will have a small flashback which will lead him to achieve this state and then he will perform the last and final form.
Kimetsu No Yaiba Chapter 184 is releasing on Nov 24 while the raw scans will be out on Nov 22.
