Bandai Namco is back with another anime fighter and this time it’s Jujutsu Kaisen. Developed by Byking Inc., Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash is a 3D 2v2 fighting game akin to titles like BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, and Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The game is scheduled for release on February 2, 2024, and will be available on all major platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. And with a release so close, some players seem to be very curious about whether the game will support PC handhelds and if it will have DLSS and FSR 3.
The Steam Deck has really helped in popularising PC handhelds. Following its release in 2022, two more major companies released their own PC handhelds: Rog Ally from ASUS and Legion Go from Lenovo. Users are already enjoying a plethora of titles on these handhelds, ranging from Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon to Cyberpunk 2077. So, with the upcoming release of Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash, it’s only evident that PC handheld users would want to know if they will be able to enjoy the game on their respective devices. So, without much further ado, let’s go ahead and find out all about that and also if the game will launch with DLSS and FSR 3.
Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash Steam Deck, Asus Rog Ally, Lenovo Legion Go, DLSS & FSR 3 Support details
At the time of publishing this, the developers of Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash haven’t announced or even shared any kind of information related to the game being supported by the Steam Deck, Asus Rog Ally, and the Lenovo Legion Go. It seems like the February 2, 2024 release is only for the Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, and PS5 platforms.
While nothing official might have been announced so far, we are confident that players will be able to run the game just fine on their PC handhelds. Rog Ally and Legion Go users wouldn’t have much issue running JKCC on their device since both of these use Windows as the OS and possess a processor powerful enough to comfortably run the game. As for the Steam Deck, it should be able to run the game without many issues. But just in case the game refuses to run on SteamOS, you can just dual-boot Windows and enjoy the game.
Now, it’s unclear whether the game will have both DLSS and FSR 3 support. While we are somewhat confident about DLSS, it’s likely that FSR 3 support won’t be available at launch. The only confirmed games to get FSR 3 currently are Space Marine II, Crimson Desert, Pax Dei, Frostpunk 2, and such. There’s no mention of JKCC at all. However, FSR 2 could be there instead of 3. But since nothing has been confirmed so far from the developers, you will have to take all this with a grain of salt.
