- One of them should have the Friend’s Pass downloaded from the store of It Takes Two.
Once this is done, now you can head over to the next steps.

- If you are the one who has the game, invite your friend.
- Once your friend gets the link, they will be directed to the It Takes Two store.
- He can download the game from there and start playing.
Your friend need not follow the steps if he has already downloaded the game using someone else’s Friend Pass. In that case, he can directly join your lobby.
Problems faced
Many a time, players have complained that they cannot play the game. They have repeatedly confirmed that one has bought the game and has shared it with the second person. This can happen due to two reasons.
- Underage account – The game is rated to be for teens (13+ years). Sometimes, it can happen that the person you have shared with might have entered the wrong date of birth in his or her account. This is simply an act of carelessness. It can be easily solved by creating a new account.
- One account in two devices – You and your partner must have different EA accounts linked to your device. This has happened with players belonging to the same family.
The issues are very minor and can be easily troubleshot. If you still face the difficulties, in the rarest of cases, it might be the faulty hardware. You can always turn to the gaming community for help.
