And while the PC and PS5 release is already set in stone, there’s a good number of fans who want to know when the game is going to come on the Xbox Series X/S and the Nintendo Switch.
Getting a game on more platforms is certainly something a lot of people want. However, a number of factors like budget, scope, and such can be limiting. Now that Warship Jolly Roger has been announced for a PC and PS5 release, it’s only evident that many would want to know if the game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X/S platforms too. So, continue reading to find out all about that.
Is there a Warship Jolly Roger Xbox Series X/S & Nintendo Switch Release Date
As of now, Proxima Studio is yet to announce or share any kind of information related to Warship Jolly Roger’s release on Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. As we stated before, the game for now is only announced for PC and PS5. The release date for the game is still yet to be announced so later on, maybe we will get more information on whether the game will be available on the Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X/S or not.
There’s very little information available on the game right now. All we know are the PC build requirements and that it’s coming to PC and PS5. And while there aren’t any official announcements or anything, we believe that Warship Jolly Roger will only be released for PC and PS5 at first. However, this doesn’t mean that there’s no possibility of WJR heading on to platforms like the Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X/S.
Warship Jolly Roger is already scheduled to be released on one current-generation console, so there’s a good chance that it could also be launching for the Xbox Series X/S, although at a later date. The Switch, on the other hand, isn’t likely to get this port. There are already rumors about the ninth-generation Nintendo console releasing this year, and with the aging hardware of the Switch, porting a title like this one can be quite a hassle. However, if there’s a good enough demand, maybe Proxima will confirm a Nintendo Switch release. All in all, there’s no confirmation from Proxima releasing WJR on Xbox Series X/S and Switch, but the possibility is always there. For now, all you can do is wait.
