Nightingale is the most awaited magical victorian survival crafting game that is made by the new studio called Inflexion games that is owned by Aaryn Flynn, an ex Bioware general manager. Set in a Victorian gaslamp fantasy world, players will venture into several different realms where they have to survive in beautiful yet deadly worlds that are filled with monsters like giants, and eldritch beasts that can be fought with arcane technology and era-appropriate weapons. Many got a glimpse of the game and what it offers at the Game Awards 2021 and wondered what else the game has to offer to its fans. Read on more to know about Nightingale and when’s it going to be released.
About Nightingale
Throughout the game, you’ll traverse through multiple realms that each has their unique atmosphere and a sense of danger that players will feel. As a survival game, you have to gather resources and materials and the danger will increase the more you spend a lot of time in that realm. Nightingale also supports multiplayer, meaning you can share this unique adventure with your friends and have a good time exploring and immersing in the realm. Players can craft new weapons, tools, gear and build farms, estates, and communities to thrive off the land.
Gameplay
Aaryn envisioned Nightingale’s world to be more immersive as possible with lifelike history and full of life and the game has that as we witnessed in the trailer. The game is played in the first person’s perspective where you have to build structures, cut trees for gathering resources, and feature other in-game crafting activities that players will be able to do so. You’ll also confront various types of creatures in each realm more often in the game, and visit every other realm through portals, which seems like an interesting idea that we can’t wait to experience for ourselves.
Release Date
Nightingale is currently listed as an early access title that many will be able to experience in 2022 on PC. Although no official release date for the game is confirmed as of now, many will get to try this game in a closed beta testing that will commence in the next few months. For the moment the game is only planned for the PC platform and there’s no official announcement for Playstation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch currently. Once the game is fully released on PC, we believe that it will be announced for consoles as well later in a year or two.
