If you enjoy playing racing or drift racing games, then you must be all geared up for the launch of Japanese Drift Master. Currently under development by Gaming Factory, this brand-new game is going to focus on the drift racing scene in Japan. As the fans of drift racing wait in anticipation of JDM, one question that arises is the availability of multiplayer modes in the game. The multiplayer mode acts as a key component in alleviating the gaming experience for many. Releasing soon, Japanese Drift Master is going to be a story-based racing game. The players are going to assume the role of a foreign driver who intends to make it to the top in Japanese drift racing. As mentioned by Gaming Factory, this is going to be an open-world game set in the surroundings of the picturesque Haikama Lake. Drive through the towns in and around this area, with the game adding real-world locations for players to enjoy. You can customize your cars as you see fit, explore the story of your character, and even enjoy real car sounds in the game. Yes, you read it right. Gaming Factory has added real-life car sounds to Japanese Drift Master. So you know when you rev up the engine of your car in the game that this experience is as realistic as it gets!
Is Japanese Drift Master (JDM) multiplayer?
Even though the official release date for Japanese Drift Master has not yet been disclosed, players are waiting in anticipation for the game. And as they wait and prepare themselves for a drift racing classic, one question that is being asked is about the multiplayer mode.
The multiplayer mode has a verdict, according to the official FAQ that one of the developers posted. After the release of Japanese Drift Master on PC, the developers are indeed going to work on introducing multiplayer modes in the game. What this means is that the game will officially release as a single-player title. But this shouldn’t be off-putting for the fans, as the developers have stated that they will work on a multiplayer mode after the game’s release.
In fact, we also get an answer to whether or not the game will be available on consoles. The developers have shared that they’re primarily focused on releasing the game on PC.
