Is Black State game coming to Nintendo Switch (2)

Are you a fan of the Metal Gear series of games? What about the creative gameplay mechanic of Portal? Well, if you love both of these games, you would be glad to know about Black State! A brand new game from “Motion Blur” which was in the works for quite some time has finally been announced. From the trailer, the game’s photo-realistic visuals, intense combat, and strategic gameplay are generating a lot of buzz and with it, some Nintendo Switch owners like yourself are wondering if they too will get to enjoy this title on their portable consoles. Well, keep reading to find out!

The trailer for Black State reveals that the game can be wishlisted on Steam and the Epic Games Store, and it will also be available on GeForce Now. With the PC launch, owners of other handheld devices like the Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go (which are essentially mini PCs) will likely find tweaks and workarounds to run the game on their respective devices. But what about the Nintendo Switch? Well, let’s get into it.

Is Black State game coming to Nintendo Switch

So here is the bad news! Unfortunately, as of writing, there is no information pointing towards the release of Black State on the Nintendo Switch, and it is not likely going to be available on the console. But why is this so? Well, to begin with, the developers and other official sources have not mentioned the release of the game on any platforms other than PC. Additionally, there is no fixed release date for the game on PC either! This clearly shows that the game is still in its very early stages of development. If you paid attention to the announcement trailer, the so-called gameplay footage shown could be pre-rendered, as it clearly mentions “in-game engine footage subject to change.” Given that there is no confirmed release date for the intended platform and the gameplay is not yet fully fleshed out, it is understandable why there is no release information for other platforms like the Nintendo Switch. But will it be available in the future? Well, we can make some speculation and that is what we are going to do next.

Will it come to Nintendo Switch? (Speculations)

Since the developers have not explicitly stated that Black State will not be released on the Switch, there is still room for speculation. It is possible that the game could become available on the Switch after the initial PC release. With enough success, popularity, and demand from players, the developers might be compelled to port the game to the Switch. However, this is highly unlikely. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5, and even if it does not look 100% accurate to the announced gameplay footage, it will still be hardware-intensive, as Unreal Engine 5 requires strong hardware to fully utilize its capabilities. The Switch, being a portable device, lacks the processing power necessary for Unreal Engine 5. Also, the development team behind this game, Motion Blur, is not a big-budget studio with the resources required for such a port. So, in a nutshell, it does not seem likely that Black State will ever see the light of day on the Switch. However, keep in mind that this is purely speculative and should be taken with a grain of salt. If more information regarding the same is released, we will let you know.

With that, we hope your doubts on this matter are cleared now! That said, for all your gaming-related queries, make sure to visit DigiStatement first as we are committed to providing the best content for you. Read more: Once Human Verifying Downloaded Files Stuck at 0% error: Is there any fix yet
