Once upon a time, HTC ruled the game of flagships in the market. Well, this was the scenario a few years back. The brand has not been so active since then. HTC manufactures some of the most beautiful and powerful devices in the market. To be honest, the HTC Desire series brought some of the most premium flagships out there. These devices were the talk of the industry a few years back. Sadly, it’s almost like the name “HTC Desire” has faded away and is lost somewhere. There’s a piece of good news, though, that you need to be happy about. It seems like HTC has finally decided to revive the HTC Desire series lineup with its upcoming HTC Desire 20 Pro Specs. This one’s going to be pretty exciting and intriguing at the same time.
HTC Desire 20 Pro Specs and Leaks:
For a brand like HTC that once ruled the market, it is pretty obvious to make headlines with its new device coming after such a long time. A few days back, a new HTC device was spotted in Geekbench. Rumors and leaks suggest that this is the HTC Desire 20 Pro. These leaks come straight from an insider from HTC itself. The Geekbench scores reveal that the device has mid-range specs, as you can see below. However, it doesn’t reveal the actual chipset or anything else about the device. But wait, why did HTC choose a mid-ranger to revive itself?
According to leaks, the device is a beautiful piece of art. To be honest, the device looks a lot like the OnePlus 8 on the front while on the back its more like the Mi 10. It looks fabulous, at least from all those leaks that we have seen so far. We don’t yet know if this is the final and official design of the device. Only time will tell what the device is going to bring. If we were to believe all those leaks, it is one of the most beautiful mid-rangers we have seen so far.
HTC Desire 20 Pro will come with a 6.59-inch display. Considering the Geekbench scores, the device will possibly house either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 or the 665 chipsets. However, this is not yet confirmed and we might also end up seeing something else when the device comes out. The device will come with up to 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The device will come with a huge 4200 mAh battery with support for 2fast charging. It will come with Android 10 out of the box. Talking about the cameras, the device features a triple camera at the back with a 48 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, the device has got a 16 MP punch-hole selfie shooter.
That is all we know about the device so far. So, will this mid-ranger be able to revive HTC? Let’s wait and see what all HTC is going to pack in this device and how it performs in the market.
HTC Desire 20 Pro Price:
HTC needs to be very careful about the price of the HTC Desire 20 Pro if it has to make a comeback. Well, as of now we have no idea about the official pricing of the device. However, considering its mid-range specs, we expect the device to be starting somewhere from around INR 14,999 for the base variant of the device in the Indian market.
HTC Desire 20 Pro Release Date:
As of now, we have no official release dates for the device. HTC has not yet said anything about the device. However, if things go well we expect to see the HTC Desire 20 Pro releasing somewhen around 26 June 2020. Well, the device is creating so many talks, after all, HTC is once again going to prove its worth through it. We will get to see what HTC has got to pack in this upcoming HTC Desire 20 Pro.
