Playstation 5 is the next generation of gaming console launched by Sony on November 12 2020. It was first announced back in 2019 and in some countries it is yet to go on sale. It was launched at US$399 and US$499 for optical disk and digital variants respectively.
It supports backwards compatibility with almost all games of Playstation 4 and Playstation VR. Some of its features are that it has solid state drive which is designed to perform at high speeds for faster game loading times and overall fluidity of the operating system.
Playstation 5 also has AMD GPU which is capable of gaming at 4K resolution with refresh rate of 120 frames per second. Playstation also introduced a new user interface which is much more informative and provides information about friend’s activity, available multiplayer activities, single player missions and rewards.
You can also download and use apps such as Netflix, Apple TV+, Disney+, Spotify. Etc. It also has Sony’s subscription based cloud gaming service, Playstation Now, which allows the user to play games from older generation of Playstation consoles. Also available is Sony’s remote play application which is also available on Playstation 4, Windows, IOS and Android devices which allows the user to play their Playstation 5 games remotely on these devices.
How to connect your gaming keyboard and mouse to your Playstation 5:-
If you are trying to connect your mouse through the wireless adapter it may show up as ‘USB Keyboard’ which is a bug Sony will probably fix soon, but the mouse works just as normal. As for the keyboard, connect the USB cable to the USB port on the backside of your PS5 and they will show up like this.
But if you connect your mouse and keyboard both through USB cables the mouse too will show up properly.
