So you have got a new PS5 and don’t know how to keep your system up-to-date? You have come to the right place. In this article, I will tell you How to turn on Automatic updates on PS5? Let’s keep our system up to date!

PS5 or PlayStation 5 is the latest and greatest console by Sony. It has some latest technologies such as Ray-tracing and HDR 4k support. This is clearly very ahead of its time console and has left its competition behind by a landslide. Since it has a lot of titles now, the problem it had of not having more titles is now no more. How to turn on Automatic updates on PS5?

You can also use this article as a guide to turn off the auto-updates and save time while starting up your system next time. Follow these steps to turn on/off the auto-updates:

  1. Go to settings
  2. Then click on System
  3. In the System menu, select the Power Savings.
  4. Click on Features available in Rest Mode.
  5. Enable Stay connected to the internet
  6. Also, enable Turning on PS5 from the network
  7. Go back to the System screen
  8. Choose System Software menu
  9. Choose System software updates and settings
  10. Enable Download Update Files Automatically
  11. Also, enable Install Update Files Automatically
  12. Navigate back to the Settings screen
  13. Select Saved Data and Game/App Settings
  14. Click on Auto Updates
  15. Enable both the options available on the right side of the screen. Which are Auto-Download and Auto-Install in Rest mode.
