Minecraft Realms can be a lot of fun when played like it’s meant to be, but that all goes away the moment Realms starts to charge your card repeatedly, recurring billing for absolutely no reason. It is totally fair that this would make you want to unsubscribe from the service or at least figure out a way to stop it. Don’t worry, we got your back. Make sure to follow closely for the best results. Right, let’s get into it.
Firstly, launch your game and click on Play. In the menu that pops up, under the Worlds tab, look for your Realm. Click on the pencil edit icon next to it. In the settings screen that pops up, look on the left-hand side and find the subscriptions tab. In this section, click on the option called “Close Realm”. Once you have done this, close down the game or minimize it, and open up your web browser. In the search bar, type in microsoft.com and head over to their website. On the top right of the webpage, click on the avatar to sign in to your account. In case you have forgotten your Microsoft account details, you can reset the password using your email. Once you are logged in, click on the avatar again and click on My Microsoft Account. This will redirect you to your account settings page in a new tab. On this page, one of the tabs displayed will be labelled Subscriptions. Under this section, your Minecraft Realms subscription should be shown as well. Click on the Manage option next to it. From the resulting webpage, you will be able to unsubscribe from Realms as well as turn off recurring billing. Click on the Confirm button after you click on whichever of these options you would like to choose.
