The main use of a beacon in the game is that it gives you status effects. Therefore, the use of this mechanism in the game gives players status effects including Haste, Regeneration, Resistance, Speed, or Strength, etc.

How to make a beacon in Minecraft –

  1. First and foremost you have to obtain a few items including 5 glasses, 1 nether star as well as 3 obsidian. These are the prerequisites to crafting a beacon.
  2. Next up, you have to open up your crafting table that shows the 3×3 crafting grid. Likewise, you can now start placing the items into the grid.
  3. You have to place 3 glasses in the boxes of the first row. This is very important to follow the exact order of placing the ingredients.
  4. Then, you have to place 1 glass in the first box of the second row, 1 nether star in the second box of the second row, and 1 glass in the third box of the second row.
  5. After doing so, you have to now place 3 obsidian in the third row.
  6. Finally, the beacon appears in the item box after placing each of the items in the recipe correctly. You can now move the new beacon into your inventory.
