How to invite friends in Splatoon 3?

Some players of Splatoon 3 may be unaware of the proper way to invite friends in the game. The in-game mechanics in Splatoon games are usually different from other games. Therefore, knowing the proper steps to invite friends in the game can be very useful. Although the game is scheduled for a full release in September 2022, some players were able to play the first Splatfest and were quite satisfied with the game. Anyways, coming back to the main topic, this article will feature all the steps on how to invite friends in Splatoon 3.Splatoon 3

Here are the required steps –

You can only send invites from the Training Room.

1) First and foremost, you have to launch the game and go to the Training Room. Likewise, you have to make sure that the friends that you want to invite in the game are also online.

2) Next up, you can tell when your friends are online by them appearing like ghosts in the Training Room. Once you find them in the Training Room, you can now invite them.

3) Then, it is also important to note that inviting your friends in the game does not mean that you are on the same team. Likewise, unlike many other multiplayer video games, Splatoon 3 places you and the friends you invite in the same game but not always on the same team. The friends you invite may therefore be on an opposing team.

4) Now, it is a good idea to create a party and let your friends join. This is the best way to play the game with your friends. Therefore, you have to go to the Training Room and open the Match Menu by pressing L.

5) You have to then change the matchmaking to the With Friends option and press A to select a game mode.

6) After selecting a game mode, you have to press A to bring up your Friends list. Likewise, you have to press Y here to Create a room for your friends to join.

7) Then, you have to set a password for the room and then wait for your friends to join.

8) Finally, you can now invite friends in the game and play with them.

This was an article regarding the steps on how to invite friends in Splatoon 3. You can always keep up-to-date with Digistatement for the latest game news as well as guides.
