Switch to a different monitor

The PlayStation 5s’ screen issues may be a result of a malfunctioning monitor. Therefore, it is important to confirm that your monitor is in good working condition. You can try switching to a different monitor to see if that fixes the issue. If it does, it means that the other monitor is not in working condition.

Switch to a different HDMI cable

A bad HDMI cable can also cause the PlayStation 5’s screen issues. Therefore, always make sure that your HDMI cable is not damaged. To do this, you can switch to a different HDMI cable and check to see whether it fixes the issues or not.

Change the 4K video transfer rate

Screen flickering issues can be a major problem on the PlayStation 5. You can fix this by switching to the 4K video transfer rate. To do this, go to Settings >> Navigate and select “Screen and Video” >>. Now, select “4K Video Transfer Rate” and change the option to “-1” or “-2” from the default “Automatic.”

How to turn off HDCP:

You can also turn off HDCP on your PlayStation 5 to fix the screen issues. To do this, go to your PlayStation 5’s Settings >> Navigate and select “System” >> Then, select “HDMI” >> Navigate to the “Enable HDCP” option and turn it off.
