Clearing Library Cache
- Check on top of your Macbook or iMac. On the Finder, you will see the tab of Go.
- Click on Go, and a drop-down menu would appear. From here, choose Library.
- From here, the Cache Folder would be visible. You need to open this Cache folder.
- Select All and delete the Cache folder.
- Upon deletion, restart the system again and open Roblox to check if the error persists or not.

Reinstalling Roblox
Before we reinstall Roblox, we need to delete the previous version:
- Go to Finder > Applications
- From there, Drag the Roblox icon into the trash
- The icon in finder contains all of the Roblox files that have been installed
- Click on the Trash icon in the Dock
- choose Empty Trash.
- You can also empty the trash by pressing three keys consecutively: Command + Shift + Delete.
- There would be a warning message display: “Are you sure you want to delete the items in your Trash” since we cannot undo this action
- Once you click Empty Trash you should be free of them.
The re-installation would be divided into three parts, namely
Re-Installing
- Open Safari, and go to the Roblox page.
- Log in through your account
- Install the application
- To access this application file, Go to Finder > Today and click Roblox.dmg
- As you click this, the installation begins, and you will get to see the Roblox icon on your apps
- From here, transfer it to your trays
Installing The Studio
- From the Roblox website, log into your account
- After completion of logging in, try to open any one of the Roblox games
- From here, click on Menu_Icon_Remastered in the upper-right corner.
- Choose Edit
- This brings a pop-up, saying that Roblox Studio is getting installed.
- The studio will open up after installation is complete
Installing Player
Download the Roblox Studio on your MacBook or iMac. To do this:
- Head to the Roblox website.
- From the top-right corner, log into your account.
- Upon logging into Roblox, visit any game and click on the green Play button
- This will bring a pop-up window.
- You will be informed that Roblox Player is being installed.
- Upon completion of installation, the game will open up automatically.
