Sony’s PlayStation is undoubtedly a revolution in the world of gaming. And the reasons to establish this fact are numerous and justifiable. The primary job of PlayStation is to offer you an enhanced and amazing gaming experience. You all very well know the gaming capability of PlayStation consoles, right? And the cherry on the cake is the two versions of PlayStation – PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Both of these versions offer almost 90% of the games that are currently playable and that is a great number. But gaming is not only what PS4 and PS5 can do. You can do several other stuff like watching videos, recording gameplay, and a lot more. And, the security system of PlayStation is great too!
Most of you might have the login passcode enabled in your PS4 and PS5 wherein you have to input a 4 digit passcode to log into your account. This is a great thing, but not all of us like it. This might be time-consuming for those who simply want to jump into their account and start doing stuff. So can you disable or delete this login passcode? Yes, you indeed can!
Here are the detailed steps using which you can delete the passcode for your PS4 account and then login automatically –
- First, log into your PS4 account using the passcode. You will be brought to the PlayStation home screen.
- On the home screen, go to the top bar and scroll all the way right until you reach Settings. Click on Settings.
- From all the options available, scroll down to the Login Settings and click on it.
- You will again be taken to another list of options. On the top, you will find the option to log into your account automatically on the PS4. Go ahead and select it.
- Now our main focus is deleting the login passcode for PS4, so that will be the fourth option on the list, the Login Passcode Management option.
- Once you click on the Login Passcode Management option, you will have two options – Change Login Passcode or Delete Login Passcode. You can easily set a new passcode using the first option. But to delete it permanently, you have to select the second option.
- Once you select the Delete Login Passcode option, it will ask you to enter your current login passcode. Just enter it and then click on Ok to confirm. And your login passcode will be deleted!
- If you want to check if it has successfully been deleted or not, just go to the quick screen and select the Switch User option. Once you get to the user screen, select any user you want and you will see that you can log in without a passcode!
