Here are the required steps to appear offline in the game –

1) First and foremost, you have to launch the game and go to the game’s main menu screen. You can do this by pressing the ESC key on the home screen.

2) Next up, you have to go to Options.

3) Then, you have to go to Social and find the option which says Online under the Friends tab. You can find this above the right corner of the screen. This is your current status in the game.

4) Now, you have to press the down arrow to open the list of statuses available. The different statuses available are Online, Busy, Away, and Appear Offline. You have to select Appear Offline.

5) Finally, you will now appear offline to other players in the game.
