The Tekken series has time and time again given the fighting game community some of the best games in history. And the tradition continues with the release of the latest mainline entry into the series, Tekken 8. The game was released with a 32-player roster, a good story, an amazing soundtrack, and robust gameplay—a perfect recipe for a perfect game. And speaking of the roster, we’ve got a few new faces this time, like the Peruvian Mixed Martial Artist – Azucena and the French Super-Spy CQB fighting style user – Victor Chevalier. And there’s also another new debutant, Reina. A character steeped in mystery, many players have been asking about her age since the game’s beta tests.
The following is what Bandai Namco has as Reina’s character overview:
“Meet Reina, the mysterious fighter who uses lightning-quick moves to overwhelm anyone who dares face her. Other than the fact she’s a student of the Mishima Polytechnical School, everything else about her is shrouded in mystery.”

How old is reina in Tekken 8?
As we stated before, Reina made her debut in Tekken 8, and so far, we know very little about her. What we do know is that she is a Devil Gene carrier and is a student at the Mishima Polytechnical School. Furthermore, she uses the famed Mishima-style Fighting Karate with the Taido fighting style, which also happens to be related to the Mishimas. Specifically, she is Heihachi Mishima’s illegitimate daughter, making her half-sister of Kazuya Mishima and aunt to Jin Kazama. However, what we don’t know right now is just how old she is.
Now, while we might not have an official age, we do have some guesses of our own. She is Kazuya Mishima’s half-sister, but unlike him, she’s clearly much younger. During the events of Tekken 8, Reina also refers to Jin Kazama as “senpai” which means that either he is someone older or ranks higher than her. However, this could also be a mind game from Reina, as we know that she has her eyes on the Mishima Zaibatsu. In conclusion, judging by her appearance and whatever we have mentioned before, we are of the opinion that Reina is somewhere between the ages of 20-23. However, take all this with a grain of salt, as nothing has been confirmed by the developers.
