So far, Lethal Company has seen no slowdown in its momentum. The game just keeps getting more and more popular with each passing day, and there’s just no stopping it. In fact, it has garnered so much attention since its release that many curious minds want to know just how much the game has made so far.
Lethal Company is a solo-dev project. Zeekerss, the man behind Lethal Company, has done an amazing job at developing the game, and each update just keeps making it better and better. As a result, a ton of new players are joining in on the fun each and every day. Plus, the $10 price tag also helps in attracting potential players. Having achieved such a resounding success in such a short amount of time, it’s only evident that many would want to know about how much the game has made since its early access release on October 23, 2023. So, without further ado, let’s find out exactly that.
How much money has Lethal Company made (2024)?
Well, to start, there has been no official information regarding how much Lethal Company has made so far. However, there’s enough data on the game to make a good guess on the revenue generated so far. Now, according to a particular GameDiscoverCo piece on Lethal Company, the author, Simon Carless, estimates that the game has sold 642, 000 copies and generated a total of $5.7 million so far. Mind you, this was published back on November 16, 2023. This isn’t all, though.
Gamalytic, at the time of publishing this, estimated that a total of 6.2 million copies of the game had been sold up until now. If we go by Gamalytic numbers, the site gives a mind-boggling gross revenue number of $57.5 million. However, we can’t take every piece of data on the website at face value. The About section of the website specifically states the following in regard to the accuracy of its estimates:
“For individual games, our tests have shown that 77% of estimates were within 30% margin of error, while 98% were within 50% error margin.”
So going by what we have shared so far, it’s safe to say that the true sales number lies somewhere in between. The game is currently ranked 4th on the Steam Top Sellers list of games, just behind Granblue Fantasy Versus, House Flipper 2, and Counter-Strike 2. It has remained on the Top Seller list for a few weeks, so its gross revenue must have shot past $6 or $7 million at the least. And that’s a pretty conservative number from our side. But until we get something official, this is all we have.
