The most hyped gacha release of the year is finally here and it’s a banger to play. Honkai: Star Rail is the next big thing from miHoYo, the developers behind the insanely popular Genshin Impact. Fans of the Honkai series will be able to instantly recognize some of the names and characters in Star Rail as it serves as the fourth installment of the franchise. However, this is not a direct or even a spiritual sequel to Honkai Impact 3rd, which co-incidentally finished its first story chapter this year in February. Now, with Honkai: Star Rail available to play, you can expect to meet familiar characters like Welt, Bronya, and Himeko. And there are many new faces too. By the looks of it, it seems like lots of players are excited to get Kafka in the game after seeing her impressive skills and performance. But when does her banner come over??
In gacha games, units are one of the main sources of revenue for developers. Summoning for a fan favorite or either a meta character has always been the norm and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future. Developers rely a lot on a unit’s popularity to drive sales. That’s why in gacha games there’s the concept of limited units, which can only be summoned once in a long-time. Events like Anniversary banners, summer banners, and such are normal in gacha games. Then there’s also the collab banner where games would collaborate with an IP and release some famous characters of that IP for a banner. Since, Honkai: Star Rail is very new, it really doesn’t have that many characters. But there will be new units in the upcoming version updates. So, when do we get to summon Kafka? Let’s find out.

Honkai Star Rail Kafka Banner Release Date Prediction & more details
If you didn’t already know, Kafka is the red-haired character who saved or rather “made” us at the beginning of the game. She also served as the “tutorial unit” for us, where we got to see her skills and that amazing ultimate skill. Regarding her banner, officially we cannot say anything because miHoYo is yet to update us on what the next banner is after Seele.
Unofficially, if we go by the leaks then you just have to wait till Version 1.2 to summon Kafka. Furthermore, we are very confident that after the Seele banner goes away, it would be Jing Yuan, the lightning erudition unit who will be summonable. Two units will be available in Version 1.2, Kafka being one of them and Blade being the other. Do note that these are just speculations from our side, so make sure to take this information with a pinch of salt.
It’s high time you start saving your Star Rail Special Pass and Stellar Jade if you want to get Kafka. Her being a lightning nihility unit also makes her that much more important, since there are not many Nihility units in the game right now.
You can follow Star Rail’s official Twitter account to know about any upcoming updates and events. That being said, don’t forget to bookmark us to get the latest on everything gacha and gaming.
