Hogwarts Legacy Voice Missing & Audio/Sound Not Working Issue: Is there any fix yet?
Unfortunately, there is no official fix for the missing voice and audio/sound issue in Hogwarts Legacy. It is possible that the devs might roll out a hotfix update soon. But until then, you can try some workarounds to get the sound back.
1) Switch the in-game language-
Quite a few players were able to resolve this issue by switching the in-game language. For example, if you are running the game in English, then select some other language. Wait for a moment and then switch back to English again.
2) Change the language through Steam-
Another user suggested that changing the language through Steam will fix this issue. To do this, launch the Steam app and head over to Library. Right-click on Hogwarts Legacy, select Properties and go to the Language tab. From here, switch the language to Italian and then back to English. This method seems to have worked for quite a few players.
3) Don’t tweak the voice in the game-
Hogwarts Legacy has detailed character customization options. Here, you can select the voice of your character and also change its pitch. Some players have reported that playing with this setting triggers the “No Voice and Sound” bug in the game. So, we recommend using the Default voice till the issue gets officially resolved.
4) Repair the game files-
Corrupt or missing game files can also trigger these types of issues in video games. So, you can try to repair the files to fix this problem. To do this, open Steam and head over to Library. Now, right-click Hogwarts Legacy and then select Properties. Next, go to the Local Files tab and click on the Verify integrity of the game files option. This will replace all the bad files with new ones. The same can be done if you have purchased the game via Epic Games Store.
At the moment, these are the only ways to fix the missing voice and sound/audio issue in Hogwarts Legacy. We will make sure to update the article if more solutions pop up. So, stay tuned to Digi Statement.
