A new Harry Potter game has just been announced at the PS5 conference, Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy! Yesterday, January 13, 2021 we found out that the game is finally pushed back to 2022.

During the Sony conference which took place on Wednesday, September 16, many games were announced for the PS5, including a new Harry Potter game! The trailer was unveiled in passing, hinting at all the magic of Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy.
Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy, a Harry Potter RPG in 2022
A brand new Harry Potter game is delayed to 2022, it’s Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy! The game, which will be a single-player action-adventure RPG, will take place in an open world, and we will be able to discover the Hogwarts of the 1800s.
Each player will play as a student of the famous wizarding school, and will embark on a dangerous adventure to discover the secret of the wizarding world. It will be possible to develop abilities and master powerful spells, while honing skills in combat! Missions will be to accomplish throughout the adventure.

Is Hogwarts Legacy PS5 Exclusive?
While the game was unveiled at the Sony conference, it won’t be available only on the PS5! It will also be possible to play it on PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PC. Each Potterhead should therefore be able to play it on the platform of their choice!
Regarding its release date, the game will be available in 2022 now, without a specific date announced for the moment!
We think that Ubisoft extended the release date because of a pile up of projects. The game has quickly formed a huge fan base from an already existing one. They do not wanna disappoint the HP fan base with a lack lustre RPG game with multiple bugs (yes, we are looking at you Cyberpunk).
