Upon reaching a certain distance from them, they’ll become agitated and start snarling at you. The chests are alluring, tempting players to open them and discover what secrets and treasures lie inside. Unfortunately, these chests are hard to get into as they immediately slam shut when players move too close.
Hogwarts Legacy: How to Unlock Disillusionment/Eye Chest
Unlocking the Eye Chest can seem like a daunting task, but thankfully you don’t have to look far for the key. All you need is the “Disillusionment Spell” – a spell that renders the caster invisible, allowing them to approach and unlock the chest undetected. To acquire this magical spell, just progress through the main storyline until you reach the “Secrets of the Restricted Section” quest. It’s an early mission in the game that will reward you with the Disillusionment Spell. Now with a bit of witchery under your belt, go forth and unlock that coveted chest!
To unlock the secrets of the one-eyed chests, players must first cast the Disillusionment spell and creep up to the chest as quietly as possible. If they were spotted before casting the spell, they must flee until the chest relaxes, recast the spell and approach the chest again. Once close enough to make out its details, players will get the loot prompt, and once looted, they will get access to a bunch of rewards.
