Hogwarts Legacy Shiny Beasts
As you can probably guess, the shiny variants of the beasts are rare to get in the game as compared to their normal variants. You can recognize whether the Beast you are catching is Shiny or not by looking at its icon on the minimap. Also, a start appears right next to their name. Beasts like Puffskein, Niffler, Jobberknoll, Knaezle, etc. have their shiny variants available in Hogwarts Legacy. Let’s see how to tame them.
Taming and adding shiny beasts to your collection is quite similar to the process by which you can tame their normal variant. All you need is a nab-sack that you can unlock by completing the “The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and The Loom” quest. Apart from the nab-sack, you must also prepare a useful strategy to catch a beast successfully. But, catching a Shiny Beasts is not as difficult as finding it in HL.
To locate the Shiny variant of a particular beast, say Knaezle, you have to reach its den and look for its Shiny variant. If you don’t see a Shiny Variant, then you have to catch a few normal variants of that beast and then change the day and night cycle by clicking on the “Wait” button on the Map screen. Changing the time regularly will force the game to respawn the beasts, thereby increasing the chances of spawning a Shiny Beast. After changing the time, you can also manually save the game and restart from the last save.
As soon as you encounter a shiny beast, make sure to approach it carefully and capture it via your Nab Sack. You can also use spells like Levioso to make it immobile and use the Disillusionment charm to become invisible and get close to it.
Anyways, this was everything about getting a Shiny Beast in Hogwarts Legacy. If you found this guide helpful, share it with your friends.
