Hi-Fi Rush Cutscene Audio Desync Issue: Is there any fix yet?
Unfortunately, there is no official fix for the cutscene audio desync issue as of now. Since a lot of players have come across this issue, we are hoping that the devs roll out a hotfix update soon. Although they have not yet made any statement regarding this matter, it is possible that they are aware of the error. Till then, you can follow our troubleshooting guide to ensure that the problem is not at your end.
1) Restart the game-
You can face audio desync issues if your game did not launch properly. Sometimes, minor glitches can also trigger this issue. So, a simple restart will help you out. Once you do this, launch Hi-Fi Rush and check if the problem persists.
2) Reboot your system-
A bad system boot can also cause audio issues in video games. It is possible that your audio devices did not properly connect to your system. Hence, a system reboot can probably fix the issue.
3) Check your audio devices-
As we mentioned before, you might also face this issue if there is a problem with your audio devices. So, disconnect your speaker/microphone/headset from the system and then reconnect them again. Also, press the Windows key and type Sound Settings. Here, make sure that the right audio output device is selected from the drop-down menu.
4) Check the in-game setting-
Although Hi-Fi Rush does not need crazy system specs, it will throw an error if your PC is unable to render the game properly. This will also cause audio desync issues in-game and in the cutscenes. So, you can try lowering some of the graphical settings to allow the game to run smoothly.
5) Update your Audio Drivers-
Outdated audio drivers can also trigger these types of issues while playing video games. So, press the Windows key and type Device Manager. Now, look for the Audio Input and Output tab and right-click on it. Here, click on the Update Drivers option.
