Helldivers 2 How to switchenable First Person Perspective (FPP) Mode

While Helldivers 2 mostly lets you see your hero from behind (TPP), some players, like you, might be itching to try seeing the world from their hero’s eyes (FPP). But can you do that? And if you can, how do you make the switch? Well, get ready, because we’ve got all the answers you need to jump into first-person mode and experience Helldivers 2 in a whole new way! Let’s dive in and uncover the secrets together!

In Helldivers 2, you can play in two different ways: looking at your character from behind (TPP) or seeing through their eyes (FPP). TPP gives you a wide view to plan and see what’s happening around you, while FPP puts you right in the middle of the action, feeling like you’re there. You might switch between these modes depending on what you like or what’s happening in the game. For example, you might use TPP to plan your moves, then switch to FPP for intense battles. Being able to switch lets you choose what feels best and makes the game more exciting!

Helldivers 2 How to switchenable First Person Perspective (FPP) Mode

Changing the perspective is very easy in Helldivers 2, whether you are playing on PlayStation 5 or a PC. We have broken down the steps for each for you to follow.

For PlayStation 5

Switching to First-Person Mode: While playing Helldivers 2 on your PlayStation 5, aim down sights by pressing and holding the L2 button. Once aiming down sights, press the right thumbstick (R3) inward. This action will switch your perspective to first-person mode.

Adjusting Zoom Position (Optional): To adjust the zoom position or reticle, hold down the square button while aiming down sights. This will allow you to modify the zoom level or reticle appearance according to your preference.

For PC

Switching to First-Person Mode: The process on PC is similar to that on PS5. Start by aiming down sights by pressing and holding the corresponding key (usually the right mouse button). While aiming down sights, press the middle mouse button. The game will then transition your view to first-person mode.

Adjusting Zoom Position (Optional): If you wish to adjust the zoom position or reticle on PC, hold down the designated key (often the R key) while aiming down sights. This will enable you to switch between different zoom levels or reticle styles to suit your preferences.

Note

Make sure to aim down sights before switching perspectives in Helldivers 2, as switching to FPP only occurs when in ADS. If the mentioned keys or buttons don’t work, you may have customized your keybindings, in which case you may need to revert to the default settings to enable the described actions.

Well, by following these step-by-step instructions, you can easily switch between perspectives and fine-tune your aiming experience in Helldivers 2, whether you’re playing on PlayStation 5 or PC. That brings us to the end of this guide. We hope your doubts were cleared. And for all your other gaming-related queries, remember to visit DigiStatement first!
