Potterheads have yet another game to dive into. And this time, it is on mobile devices. So you already know what it means: the game caters to a huge player base because of the sheer number of users on the mobile platform. And recently, we have been seeing gradual improvements and expansion in the mobile gaming space. All of that aside, the game we are talking about today is called Harry Potter: Magic Awakened. It is a classic card game with a twist. It includes monsters and spells from the Harry Potter universe. Well, there is a grim matter that we want to discuss in this article. Some players are unable to log in to the game. If this is you, just read the article till the end to know if there is any fix available.
So what is the problem? Well, to talk about it in detail, it seems that these affected players are experiencing a login problem in the game where clicking the “Enter the Hogwarts” button results in some kind of a loop between their WB profile and the “Enter the Hogwarts” screen. As you might have already guessed, this issue can prevent you from accessing the game, thereby leading to login failures. So, what can be done to tackle this? Well, keep reading to learn more.
Harry Potter Magic Awakened Unable to Log In Issue: Is there any fix yet
Well, to begin with, there are no official fixes for this issue yet. Not at least during the time of writing this article. So what’s next, then? Players facing the same issue have taken it up to discuss it online. And the good news is that some of the workarounds mentioned did resolve the issue for the majority. So, in the absence of an official fix, why don’t you give these potential workarounds a try?
Reinstall and don’t log in to WB Account
The first workaround is obvious and simple. Some players mentioned that they uninstalled the game and then installed it again. After reinstalling, they did not log in to their WB Account when prompted. By doing so, they were able to play the game without encountering the login loop issue. And that is not all; many players are actually refraining from logging back in fear of the error. So, you can give this method a try, but note that you will have to start from scratch.
Check your internet
Since the error is related to connectivity, the next logical thing to do is to make sure that everything is fine on your end. See if your internet connection is stable and fast. If you are using a VPN, disable it before trying to log in to the game. Also, try using different networks: a different wifi connection or a mobile hotspot from another device.
Clear Data/cache
There is one more workaround you can try to resolve this issue. We are, of course, talking about clearing the data and cache of the Harry Potter Magic Awakened application on your mobile device. To do this, all you have to do is head out to the Settings/application settings menu on your device and then choose Harry Potter Magic Awakened. You should be able to clear the cache/data from the menu that opens up next.
Well, that is all you can do for now. We hope that the developers acknowledge this issue and fix it once and for all. But when will that happen? We don’t know yet; however, they shouldn’t be taking long. Anyway, that’s all for this guide. For more gaming-related reads like this, stay tuned to DigiStatement.
