The rollercoaster of a ride that Haruichi Furadate has given over the six years of Haikyuu! is coming to an end next week. Yes, Weekly Shonen Jump has confirmed that Haikyuu chapter 402 will be the last of the action from Hinata Shoyo and Kageyama. Haikyuu! has been hailed as one of the best sports manga and the story of flowers, hard work & friendship has captivated a huge fan base over the years. But now everything is finally at the brink.

Haikyuu! Chapter 401 Recap
The last chapter was a bittersweet end to the Jackals vs Adlers game. Hinata grabbed a dramatic last point victory for Jackals after a long deuce. The game ended with Jackals as the winner and rather than a disappointed face on Kageyama, we see him smiling! Kageyama acknowledges Hinata by saying “You made it.”
We see a lot of greetings and goodbyes after the match. An unexpected visitor comes to Shoyo, the Nekoma Grad Tetsuoo Kuro, and extends his hands in a deal. Hoshiumi also acknowledges Hinata’s growth and says he just might be a little bit better than me.
Then we have a time-skip to 2021 and are shown the Tokyo Olympics 2020 Volleyball Venue and then there are our two players standing side by side in the same uniform!
Haikyuu! Chapter 402 Release Date
The last chapter of Haikyuu! in this emotional journey has a release date of July 19, 2020. There are a lot of commemorative manga events that will happen after Haikyuu! ends.
Series is also getting both Chapters 401 and 402 with increased pages, aside from Chapter 402 being the possibly final chapter of Volume 45. Series is also being listed for Jump GIGA's Completed Works Commemoration, which will be out on July 27th. 2/2
