Gundam Breaker 4 HDR, Ultrawide (219), Super Ultrawide (329), AMD FSR 3 & DLSS Support Details

With the release of Gundam Breaker 4, while some players are all excited to jump into the latest installment of the iconic mecha franchise, others who value advanced visual features like HDR, ultrawide support (21:9), super ultrawide support (32:9), AMD FSR 3, and DLSS are curious to know whether these options are supported in-game. You too might want to know about these features before committing to the game. Well, you have landed on the right page! We have scoured the internet for all the support details you need to know about these features in Gundam Breaker 4!

Players look out for these features in new releases to take their gaming experience to the next level. HDR support makes the colors and contrast for more vibrant and lifelike visuals, while ultrawide (21:9) and super ultrawide (32:9) support provides a broader field of view, just what you would want if you own a wide monitor. On the other hand, tech like AMD FSR 3 and DLSS can boost performance by upscaling resolution for higher frame rates and smoother gameplay without sacrificing visual quality. Well, let’s see if these features are present in Gundam Breaker 4.

HDR

Gundam Breaker 4 does not support HDR, as this feature is not present in the in-game graphics settings or mentioned in any official documentation. This is understandable given that the game does not have particularly hefty system requirements and is generally less demanding on system specs. As a result, HDR has been left out, likely to ensure broader compatibility and smoother performance across a wider range of hardware configurations.

Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9)

On this front, the info we have is from a player who tried the game, especially to test the availability of ultrawide support. So, according to them, the game does support ultrawide (21:9) and super ultrawide (32:9) resolutions, but only partially. While these aspect ratios work correctly in lobbies and during gameplay, cutscenes are not formatted for ultrawide and will display with black bars on the sides. Additionally, the game uses a “vert-” (vertical minus) approach, which means that instead of expanding the horizontal view (hor+), it cuts off the top and bottom of the screen to fit the wider aspect ratio. Well, while this is somewhat acceptable, we hope that a proper “hor+” fix will be made available officially or through mods later on to fix this issue once and for all.

AMD FSR 3 & DLSS Support

Gundam Breaker 4 does not support AMD FSR 3 or any version of FidelityFX Super Resolution, nor does it include DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling). Again, this makes sense given that the game is relatively light on system requirements, and the recommended GPUs for the game do not typically feature these advanced upscaling technologies. And if you really think about it, considering the game’s less demanding nature, it doesn’t particularly need these features to maintain good performance and visual quality, making their absence understandable.

Well, that is all we have to share for now. We hope this was informative. If you are an avid gamer, don’t forget to go through DigiStatement for the best guides and news on all things gaming! Read more: Multiverse Tower Defense Codes for September 2024
