One of Rockstar’s finest creation, Grand Theft Auto 5 is still generating respectable amounts in revenue for the company. The game is still loved despite the fact that it is almost 7 years old. According to Statista, GTA 5 had achieved its monthly peak players in November 2020, having reached more than 157K concurrent players on Steam. This is because Rockstar constantly pushes new content into the game to provide consistent engagement to its player base. 2020 has been a great year for GTA 5 as they have managed to gain impressive numbers in terms of revenue. GTA 5 has earned the third position in SuperData’s revenue list of Top 10 Premium Titles of 2020 generating a total of $911M. It is a big number for a game that has been released over 7 years ago. However, the majority of the revenue collected by GTA 5 has been made from the microtransactions in GTA Online like the previous year.
