Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising to Save File Location: Where is it

Gaming and anime are among the most trendy communities in the world. Well, a fusion of these two has the potential to reach the popularity ceiling. Interestingly, Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising includes the same in its domain. The game puts anime-styled characters in a fighting duel. So, it’s a given that the gamers were anticipating this for a while. Fortunately, the release has been a hit. Sadly, like any other new title on the market, GBFVR has some bugs and technical difficulties. Well, many players are facing difficulties with changing the resolution of the game. Furthermore, players have reported that their in-game resolution is stuck. So, this creates an issue with the playability of the game. That being said, in this guide, we will go through the issue and share the solution for it.

Recently, Arc System Works and Cygames released Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising, the sequel to Granblue Fantasy Versus. The game is released on various platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Like the original, it is a 2D combat game involving battles between characters. Furthermore, it has many characters to choose from. With better visuals, improved graphics, and much more content, it is an experience many currently want to enjoy. However, the resolution issue is something that is troubling players a lot. So, we have shared the workaround to fix it for good.

Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising: How to change resolution?

Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising: How to change resolution?

Nowadays, almost all games include the common monitor resolutions. However, Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising doesn’t seem to work the same way. Well, many players have reported facing the resolution stuck issue on Reddit and Steam discussion forums. The developers are addressing many issues, but the resolution bug is going unnoticed. Hence, there is no official fix for it. Fortunately, players have tried to solve the issue with mixed outcomes. Read further to learn how to change the resolution.

Restart the Game

The simplest troubleshooting method is to restart the game. Many players have reported that the game requires a restart for the resolution settings to show. Hence, try giving the game a fresh start to resolve the issue.

Change your Monitor Display resolution

Interestingly, for some reason, GBFVR locks the in-game resolution to 720p. So, to fix the same, one can meddle with the desktop resolution. Follow the steps below to do the same:

  1. First, close the game.
  2. Then, open Windows Settings.
  3. Locate the Display Resolution option in the Scale & Layout section.
  4. Now, change the default monitor resolution.
  5. Once done, launch the game.
  6. Then, open the in-game Graphics Settings menu and check if you can adjust the resolution now.

Change the Display Mode

Some players have reported that the game restricts resolution options in Full-Screen Mode. So, changing the settings to Borderless Full Screen might fix the issue. So, follow the steps to try the fix.

  1. First, go to the in-game main menu.
  2. Then, select Options.
  3. After this, locate Graphics Settings.
  4. In Display Mode, select Borderless Full Screen.
  5. Once done, close and relaunch the game. Then check if the issue persists.

Set Launch Options

Another method to fix the resolution is to fiddle with the game’s launch options. Well, players have reported that changing the launch options has helped with the issue.

  1. First, head over to your Steam Library.
  2. Then, right-click on GBFVR and select Properties.
  3. After this, locate General and go to Launch Options.
  4. Now, put “-w 1920 -h 1080” in the launch options textbox. (You can adjust the resolution according to your desire.)
  5. You can also try these launch option parameters:  “-screen-width 1920-screen-height 1080”.
  6. Once done, launch the game.

That’s all for this guide to changing the resolution in GBFVR. Nevertheless, if the issue persists, feel free to contact support regarding the same. We hope that the guide was helpful to you.
