Gorilla Tag Stuck on Loading Screen Issue: How to Fix?

Gorilla Tag Stuck on Loading Screen

As of now, we don’t know of any official fix for this particular issue in Gorilla Tag. However, what you can do is follow a few other workarounds and see if they work for you.

Restart Your VR Headset

As Reddit user Jupt_ shared, all they had to do was restart the VR headset, and it fixed the issue for them. You can find out how to restart the headset on the official website of the VR headset manufacturer. Restart the device and see if it works.

Remove Mods

If you’ve downloaded a recent mod and then your game starts encountering such issues, you need to delete the mod and then run the game. See if this works for you. To access the mods folder, open File Explorer, go to C drive, then Program Files x86. Here, open the Steam folder, then steamapps, and then the Gorilla Tag folder. Here, open the mod manager folder and remove all installed mods. After this, launch the game.

Update the VR Headset Software

You have to ensure that the VR headset has the latest update installed. Different manufacturers have different methods for updating their headsets. You can find the process for updating your VR headset on the official website of the manufacturer. Try this and see if it solves your problem.

Uninstall and Reinstall the Game

Well, if the issue persists, try uninstalling the game completely. Then, reinstall the game and then run it. Doing so should fix the issue.

Factory Reset Your VR Headset

If the given fixes don’t work for you, you’ll need to factory reset the VR headset. Now, even for this, different VR headset manufacturers have different methods. Visit the official website or refer to online guides to learn how to reset your VR headset. Once the device reboots, run Gorilla Tag. See if it now loads.

Contact Support

As MetaQuestSupport advised Reddit user Milezofdestruction, you can also contact the support team of your VR headset if nothing fixes the issue for you. Get in touch with the support team of your VR headset manufacturer and see what they have to say about the issue. Hopefully, they can help you fix the problem and enjoy Gorilla Tag again.
