Google launched Google Camera (Gcam) version 8.1.008.341125824 earlier this year in September with Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G devices. The updated version comes with various amazing features like renewed UI with toggles to quick access various modes, Night Sight Portrait Mode, cinematic Plan, Better zoom controls, a wide-angle portrait mode, and many more. Some of the features of Gcam V8.1 are confined to latest pixel devices.
The users of older pixel devices had an option to side download the Gcam app but the users were not able to access all the features. Recently, a user of Google Pixel 4 XL posted a screenshot and confirmed that the update for Google Camera v8.1 has started rolling out for the other pixel devices too. The user said that he received the new update directly via playstore. As reported by XDA Developers, it is not sure if the new update contains all the new features that were introduced to Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G devices. Have a look at the screenshot down below.

As reported by XDA Developers, it is not yet confirmed that the Google Camera 8.1 will have the same Cinematic Pan feature for the older devices too. The above download link is only for Google Pixel users.
