Playground Games is back with its recent, and probably the best release, Forza Horizon 5. No, the game is not completely released yet, but the early access has been made available on the 5th of November 2021.
It has been almost two days since its release and the game has become quite a big hit amongst the players. The initial reviews have been mind-blowing and we just can’t wait for the full release of the game.
Talking about the full release, it is going to happen on the 9th of November 2021. The game will be available for Xbox Series X|S and PC as well. If you are wondering about the likes of PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, the news is that there is no official info regarding the release of the game on these platforms.
Okay so FH5 is undoubtedly a dope game to play, but the early access has come with some of the worst bugs and glitches. These include the game crashing and not launching, black screen, audio bug, and many more. Here is another addition to the list. Several players have reported that they are not able to log into the game with their Microsoft accounts.
The reason behind this is unknown. But if you are one of those facing this log in issue, here are some solutions on what you can do –
DO SOME LOGINS AND LOGOUTS
This is one of the most effective solutions to solve the login issues on PC and it has worked for a lot of players. This requires that you log in with the same account on the Xbox App and the Microsoft Store.
Check if you are using the same account on both of them. If you are, log out of the Microsoft Store. Log back in, using your PIN code. Then, log out of the Xbox App. Again, log back in (be sure to select the right account) to the Xbox App. You should now be able to play the game normally.
DELETE YOUR XBL LOGIN CREDENTIALS
If the above solution does not work for you, you can try deleting your XBL login credentials. For this, you can follow the below steps –
- Look for the Credential Manager app in your Windows.
- Once inside, in the Windows Credential tab, under Generic Credentials, scroll all the way down until you see something along the lines of “Xbl|DeviceKey”. Remove this.
- After this, restart your computer.
- Once the computer has restarted, try running the game again.
TRY STARTING SOME SERVICES
The final solution that you can try is to start the following services: IP Helper, Xbox Live Auth Manager, Xbox Accessory Management Service, Xbox Live Networking Service, and Xbox Live Game Save. To do this, follow the below steps –
- Like with the credentials solution, search for the Services App in Windows.
- Start it and look for all of these services there.
- Once you find these services, set their Startup Type to “Automatic”, then on “Apply” and their Service Type to “Start” and finally OK.
- Also, make sure that Gaming Services are running.
- If they are not, click to “Start” them.
- Windows Update and Microsoft Store Install Service should also be set to “Automatic” and to “Start”.
- After all of that, launch the game.
This was everything you can do to fix the login issue using your Microsoft account. We are still waiting for any official fixes, but the above steps are worth trying. Follow Digi Statement for more such tips, tricks and guides.
