Fortnite is one of the most popular battle royale games. The game has three distinct modes, but players play the battle royale mode most. Its battle royale mode is free-to-play where 100 players pit into a map to fight to be the last one standing. Around 125 million players played the game in its first year of the run beating all other battle royale titles. It is revamped with a new map in chapter 2 season 1 and currently, Winterfest event is live in the game where a snowstorm has breached the map.
Now, with a new year ahead Fortnite is going to have an event. According to reputable Fortnite data miner, ‘Lucas7yoshi’, Epic Games is holding a Fortnite New Year event similar to last year. All long-time player will know how much fun it was.
For those who didn’t play the game last year or wasn’t alive during the event, the game forced players to dance every time it 2019 happened in a new location on the globe.

if we look at the coding blocks, a timer will appear in the game to provide New Year countdown. Disco ball is also mentioned in the code which has already appeared in “replay” files in the game.
These details look similar to the previous year’s New Year event, but these are subjected to change. So, take this leak as a grain of salt for now.
