The Xbox Series X finally hit the markets on 10th November 2020. A huge update in the gaming industry, Xbox brought a next generational gaming console, coming with a computing power of 12 teraflops. It can clock up to 120 frames per second. The console also provides a True 4K gaming experience. But the console has also received complaints across various arenas. This also includes the Xbox Series X controller, which has received major complaints regarding syncing and connectivity issues. In this article, we share multiple alternatives to fix the controller syncing and connectivity issue.

Xbox Series X Controller Fix

Changing Batteries

This problem might often stir from batteries. Heavy gamers who are active on the Xbox can try changing the batteries. We recommend using rechargeable batteries, which are easy to charge and use for a seamless gaming experience. While putting in the older rechargeable batteries or putting the new ones, ensure that the batteries fix properly before you continue to sync the controller with the console engine.

Re Sync

After changing the batteries, try to re-sync the controller with the console. Press the button down on the bottom right corner (upon doing this, you will see the Xbox logo blinking). Then from your controller, press on the Xbox logo to switch it on. Then tap on the button located on the top left (above the cable slot) and hold it for some time. This will allow the controller to sync with the console.

Connect via USB cable

You got a designated USB cable, where the slimmer end can be attached from the controller. Meanwhile, the universal USB side gets attached to the console engine (the main Xbox Series X box). Connect the cables with the appropriate ports. Upon connection, click on the Xbox logo on your controller to switch it on. If this does not fix the error, then you might need to update the controller.

Update Controller

From the main menu of Xbox Series X, go to Settings as the Settings open up, access Devices and Connections. From this place, select the option of Accessories. As you tap on accessories, you will find the Xbox controller on your screen. Below, you will see three dot buttons. Click on the same, and you will see the option to get a firmware update. Click on the same (if there’s any update available). Upon completing the update, restart your controller.

These are some ways you can fix your Xbox Series X controller when it is going through connection and syncing issues. For more Xbox guides and fixes, head here.
